The 3rd Origami Peace Tree Project"Origami Wildlife Park""Working together, we can leave our children a living planet."World Wildlife Fond's slogan The 3rd Charity Origami exhibition of the International Art Project "Origami Peace Tree" is a reminder to everybody that all material wealth is nothing compared to the beauty and the force of wildlife. While the exhibition has been going on we celebrated the World Environment Day, 5th of June 2002, with our guests. We were glad to realize that a lot of people have not forgotten the meaning of the word "Nature". "The theme of this year's World Environment Day is Give Earth a Chance, an urgent summon to each and every one of us to contribute to the healing of our ailing planet and urges us to look at our daily impact on the planet and its peoples, and to take action to improve our environmental behaviour. On this World Environment Day, let us carefully consider the actions which each of us has to take and then address ourselves to our common task of preserving the earth with a firm and sober resolution. I strongly believe that by doing so, we will be able to bequeath a clean and green earth to future generations - one of the highest goals to which humanity can aspire." H.E. Dr. Han Seung-soo, President of the General Assembly, on World Environment Day The "ORIGAMI WILDLIFE PARK" exhibition of the Origami Peace Tree Project was opened from May 27 to June 09, 2002 in the Marble Hall of the State Marine Academy in Novorossiysk, Russia. There were 536 Origami models and ornaments of the 187 participants from 28 countries on the Peace Tree. The Peace Tree project participants sent us a lot of nice postcards with views of Wildlife and their own Origami photographs of folding sessions. All visitors enjoyed these and had possibility to learn how to fold Origami models. Conclusions:We would like to be helpful within our family power in helping for deciding Peace problems.
